POSTPARTUM YOGA NIDRA
Yoga Nidra, also known as Yogic Sleep, is a deep state of relaxation which regenerates and rejuvenates at a cellular level.
Our Yoga Nidra is specifically designed to nurture and nourish the innate needs of the postpartum mother physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
In the early weeks following birth, sleep deprivation and feelings of being overwhelmed can take a toll emotionally and on the body and mind. Although not a substitute for sleep, the benefits of Yoga Nidra can help to counter feelings of exhaustion, feeling foggy and being physically and emotionally drained.
Similar to Savasana at the end of a yoga class, Yoga Nidra provides a deeper mindful relaxation; laying on the floor feeling cozy and contained with blankets, bolsters and eye pillows. Relaxing breaths begin the session that then leads to a mental scan of the body and mind, revealing any areas of tension. This is followed by a progressive relaxation of the entire body, continuing to flow into a deeply meditative, blissful guided meditation, leaving you feeling like you just had a mini-vacation with all the benefits of feeling relaxed yet alert, and re-energized.

Yoga Nidra is known as the most important practice in Hatha Yoga. It is where the true benefits of yoga take place; nourishing you and your energy so you feel refreshed and recharged
