ABOUT BECCA

Hi, I’m Becca — an Early Childhood Educator, Newborn Care Specialist, and Women’s Yoga Therapist with a lifelong passion for nurturing families and supporting women’s wellness.
Since 1982, I’ve worked closely with families in private households, guiding them through the delicate early days of newborn care and child developmental stages - from toddler to teen. As a maternity nurse, postpartum doula, and newborn care specialist, I help parents feel calm, confident, and supported as they adjust to life with a new baby. Whether it’s establishing healthy sleep habits, soothing a newborn, or supporting breastfeeding, my approach is always personalized, gentle, and grounded in compassion. My journey into yoga began while traveling in India in the early 1990's, and later certifying as a prenatal yoga teacher (RPYT®) in New York City in 1995 with an update in 2014. My own experience living with undiagnosed Stage 4 Endometriosis for over a decade—and navigating fertility challenges—led me to deepen my training in women's yoga therapy. Today, I offer specialized, trauma-informed gentle therapeutic yoga support for women facing Endometriosis, PCOS, chronic pelvic pain, and fertility concerns. I teach gentle personalized pre-natal yoga one to one and small group workshops from my boutique studio in Midtown Toronto. Every family and every woman’s path is unique. I’m here to listen, to hold space, and to offer guidance that honors your story. When I’m not supporting parents or teaching yoga, you’ll often find me exploring vibrant neighborhoods in Toronto and Montreal, or curled up with a classic Hollywood film. If you’re seeking nurturing support during early parenthood or on your journey with women’s health, I’d love to connect. Click here to book a free consultation or learn more about my offerings.
